Ronald G. Richards, President

Ron has 30 years of business and government experience.

Ron is president and owner of RG Richards and Associates. Ron has been directly responsible for the development approval process for over fifty commercial developments and over two thousand acres of residential development across Canada.

Also in the private sector, Ron has held the position of V.P. of Planning and Research for a major land development company, First City Shopping Centre Group. He was also Director of Development for Richcraft Homes, a leading residential developer/ builder in Ottawa.

Ron has held a variety of positions in government including the Chief of Staff to the Ontario Minister of Citizenship, Culture and Recreation; Assistant Chief of Staff to the Federal Minister of Industry, Science and Technology Canada and Minister of International Trade as well as Special Advisor to the Federal Minister of National Revenue. Ron has also served as Manager of Finance and Administration at the Secretariat for Social Development and as Executive Director Of Ontario International Youth Year celebrations.

Cameron MacKinnon, Senior Associate

Cameron has more than ten years experience as a political assistant at the provincial and municipal levels. He has also worked as an independent consultant specializing in strategic communications and government relations.

Provincially, he has held several positions including Assistant Director of Communications for Ontario, Special Advisor for the Premier's office, and Special Advisor to the Minister of Community Social Services. At the municipal level, he served seven years as Executive Assistant to a Member of Metro Toronto Council.

Cameron is particularly interested in advancing issues by creating strategies that directly involve the public, stakeholders, public opinion leaders and decision makers as the means to build support for his clients' initiatives.

Cameron has an undergraduate degree in Political Science/ Urban Studies and a Masters of Environmental Studies degree.
