Toronto, Markham and Lawrence

The Royal Bank of Canada wanted to build a new branch at the corner of Markham and Lawrence in Toronto’s east end. RGR worked with the Royal Bank Design Team to negotiate a site plan approval. Under the City of Toronto’s new development guidelines, green development and urban design were critical factors in the success of the project. RJR’s experience with the city of Toronto’s policy regime and Urban Design Guidelines helped streamline this process.

“I trust you are able to witness what this new building has done for that derelict corner of Scarborough.
Thank you all for your efforts to bring this to reality. Be assured that our client, RBC, is very pleased.”
